Perhaps your parent had a CB radio when you were growing up. or, you may have been introduced to radio through school or a scout club for example.

However we first became interested in radio, we all have a story to tell. For me, it all began when I was 11 years old when my father gave me an old shortwave receiver to play around with, there was something magical about it that got me hooked.
