All of the team here at the Extended Freedom Network are really proud to announce that we will be teaming up with our Friends at the Bishop Auckland Radio Amateur Club (BARAC) and Supporting their wonderful Special Event Station activities, across three primary schools in the North East of England during Science Week!

This year's theme is perfect for Amateur Radio - it's "Time"

Wednesday 13th Noon - 15:00 UTC - GB4SCE - Special Event Station - Staindrop Primary School

Multiple Times Throughout the week - Listen out for GB1BSW our Popup Special Event Station via Extended Freedom Network, HF, Data, VHF & UHF..

During the afternoons of 8th-15th March there will be lots of students looking to have QSO's with Amateurs across the globe.

Tell your friends, radio buddies, tell everyone! Connect in and join in what is sure to be a fantastic event.

Approx 7 days after the event - Anyone who has made contact with one of the three special event stations (via our network, or direct on HF) will be able to logon to the Extended Freedom Network website and download a commemorative certificate as a thank you for Supporting Science Week!
